Dear Valued Melody Boys Quartet Supporter,

Please allow me to take this opportunity to thank you for your loyal support of The Melody Boys Quartet – some of you for many years, and others as new friends. Your attendance at our concerts, your purchase of our products and your faithful prayers continue to encourage and spur us on…especially during these current tough times.

Our hearts were especially touched by the generous contributions many of you recently made toward the repainting of our bus. What a tremendous difference that has made in so many ways…THANK YOU!

A few weeks ago, some good friends of the Melody Boys approached me with the idea that our loyal supporters might wish to partner with the Quartet on a more regular basis in our ministry. With diesel fuel at an all-time, bus repairs often draining our resources to the critical point, they pointed out there are many of you who would be willing to help us, if you knew the need.

I have to admit some reluctance on my part at first. It’s always been difficult for me to ask anyone for help. But then I was reminded of Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, where the Bible teaches, “Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, for he has no one to help him up.”

So, after much prayer in seeking the Lord’s wisdom, I have accepted our friends’ generous offer to organize the Melody Milers. Melody Milers are supporters of The Melody Boys Quartet, who feel led by the Lord to partner with us in our ministry of spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ across the miles. Melody Milers’ tax-deductible contributions will be used exclusively to help cover the necessary costs we incur every week for fuel, repairs, replenishing our music inventory, and for the production of at least one new recording each year.

There are no dues or other membership requirements to become a Melody Miler. You simply become a Melody Miler when you send a tax-deductible contribution to help The Melody Boys Quartet “get on down the road”.

Melody Miler envelopes will be made available to anyone who wishes to participate. Please understand that we do not want you to take from your regular tithe and offerings to participate in this ministry. We simply ask that you pray about it, and then follow the Lord’s leadings in this, as in everything you do.

Thank you again for your loyal enthusiasm for The Melody Boys Quartet. As always, your prayers are the most important contribution toward our efforts to Give the World a Smile, as we devote our lives to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ in song. May God continue to bless you and keep you in His tender care.
